FCL constantly has an active pipeline of structuring assignments in products such as Listed and/or Unlisted Debentures, Securitizations, Commercial Paper, Loan arrangements and Interest Rate Swaps through which we serve a large base of investors and borrowers in Sri Lanka's capital markets. In performing this function, the company draws from a pool of resources which includes corporate lawyers, market researchers, custodians, trustees, underwriters, broking houses and regulators. Complementing this activity is the large and growing client base of the Company which acts as a strong placement platform for structured products.

As an extension of its participation in the debt capital markets, FCL also facilitates repo investments in corporate paper to companies and individuals who seek a flexible means of earning a higher (though safe) return than those offered savings and fixed deposit vehicles. Over the decades, FCL has developed a strong and loyal base of customers in this area.

First Capital Limited, also functions as the managing company of group subsidiaries and is the holding company of First Capital Treasuries Limited, First Capital Asset Management Limited and First Capital Markets Limited.
